Frequently Asked Questions:
Class Ages: Because projects are designed with the specific age groups identified, students must be the minimum age listed on the start date of camp.
Transportation: Families are responsible for arranging transportation of their students. Students should arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before the start of classes and picked-up no later than 15 minutes after camps end. Safety is our top priority, please ensure that Camp Staff are present before leaving your student-
Art Show: Each week will culminate with an Art Show the final 20 minutes of camp, where we welcome friends and family to celebrate the work of students! Work that is ready to go home may be collected upon departure. Work that needs to be fired in a kiln will remain on site. The Paramount will send an email once the work is ready for pick-up (typically three or four weeks after the final day of camp)
Clothing: Please send your child in clothes that can get messy! Closed toed shoes (no sandals) help keep feet protected while in studio.
Lunch: If your student is registered for both morning and afternoon camps in a week, they are welcome to remain on site and eat lunch with our staff! Students should bring their own bag lunch; students will not be able to leave the facility to purchase lunch off site or have access to vending machines. Due to allergy concerns, we ask that no tree nut or peanut products be sent.
Electronics: We ask that devices, including phones or tablets, be turned to silent mode during camps. Ringtones and alerts can be distracting in the creative environment. The Paramount is not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen devices. Should you need to contact your student please call the Visual Arts Office at (320) 257-3128.
Assistance Fund: The Paramount Center for the Arts’ Assistance Fund provides access to our educational arts programming for those who would not otherwise be able to participate due to financial limitations.
